Postcards and books of postcards.
One group depicts towns in France and Belgium before and after the First World War. These include Albert, Hazebrouck, Meessen (Messines), La Boisselle, and Ypres. There are also a group of war memorials.
Another booklet depicts views of Lille, France, and there are several photographs of stirling and Qubec.
An album of 23 photomechanical prints depicts Cairo and its environs. Included in this are five post cards of Egypt. The album and the postcards are dated 1916.
Eleven photographic postcards published by the Swiss electrical engineering firm, Brown, Boveri & Company, record its involvement in the process of the electrification of the Swiss railway system. Included in this sequence are electric locomotives, a hydroelectric power house, various electrical goods such as turbines, and a view of the BBC factory at Baden.
