Colt, Rhoda C, fl 1877 :Photograph album

A pocket inserted inside the front cover holds two photographs of wedding celebrations at a British Army regiment in India. One of the scenes shows a large party of men and women, including British and Indian men in uniform. These were taken circa 1910.

The main body of the album contains views of Canterbury, Otago and the West Coast of the South Island, taken around 1877 by an unidentified photographer.

Many of the scenes are of Christchurch and environs, including public buildings, and various bridges.
