Tonkin's farm in the Matakohe area, NE of Kaipara Harbour, used as a base map to which the farm and paddock boundaries have been outlined in red and detailed in a key. Hand-written notes in the margin give details of neighbouring houses with name references. Features include a trig point with height in feet, cabbage trees (location of), height in feet (of a hill), silo, to Matakohe, Ruatuna.

A.P.B.W. believed to be the cartographer.
