Former Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party Helen Clark and new Labour leader Phil Goff are running in a relay race with Helen Clark about to pass the torch to Phil Goff. The race takes place on a travelator that is labelled 'Same leadership generation' which means that they never get anywhere. Refers to the notion that Helen Clark's successor is of the same generation and therefore may not have much that is new to offer.
