Shows a night scene of the steamship 'Maori' anchored at a wharf, with people standing on the wharf and on the ship's decks. The scene is lit by two spherical lights, and the wharf buildings are at the left.
A similar image, entitled "The Maori, 7.40 pm, Wellington, NZ", appeared in the front of the "New Zealand railways magazine" of 1 September 1927.
