Description

Shows Winston Peters, Leader of New Zealand First, with a homburg hat over his eyes and a cigar in his mouth; he makes a 'v' for victory as the 'NZ First' boat on which he stands, sinks beneath the waves. As it sinks he makes a Churchillian speech declaring that 'We shall fight 'em on the beaches..swept along by the tide of...um...the tide of... well swept along by the tide'. Text above says that his comeback speech was full of 'Churchillian fighting words and military metaphors'. Refers to Winston Peters' return to politics after he lost his seat and New Zealand First also failed to win any seats in the 2008 election.
