- Description
The two Co-leaders of the Maori Party, Pita Sharples and Tariana Turia discuss renegade Maori Party MP Hone Harawira. Pita Sharples says that Hone Harawira's side trips were taken to broaden his mind and Tariana Turia replies that in that case they could send him to the moon and back about 500 times. Refers to the unofficial sidetrip taken by Harawira and his wife to Paris while in Europe at tax-payers' expense. Hone Harawira was widely criticised for this as well as his use of foul language and strong anti-Pakeha comments in an email.
