Shows a woman standing in her living room beside a Christmas tree. In her hand she holds a newspaper with the heading 'Canoe man insurance...'. As her husband helps himself to another drink she tells him that their budget needs a boost and she suggests that he get lost at sea and then hide in the basement for the rest of his life. Refers to an English couple who tried this trick but the hiding place was Panama rather than the basement.
