- Description
A forensic scientist, surrounded by a collection of scientific paraphernalia, is peering through a magnifying glass at some wool fibres he has found in the basement of Parliament buildings. The cartoon heading is about possible moose sightings on the West Coast. The idea of forensics being used for tracking purposes has been applied to the tracking of Winston Peters, Leader of New Zealand First, who has been having talks with both major parties over the past two weeks since the election results have been known. There is a great deal of public interest in the outcome of the negotiations. Winston Peters is instrumental in the forging of a workable government for both parties.
