In the first of two frames Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, both Democratic candidates in the 2008 American presidential election are having a stand-off. Hillary Clinton insults Barack Obama and in the same breath asks him to be her vice-presidential running mate. Obama believes she must be joking as he points out that he is ahead in the delegate count. In the second frame Hillary Clinton shrieks that he is a sexist and Barack Obama looks bemused. Refers to the competition between Clinton and Obama for the candidacy. The situation described in the cartoon is more or less what happened.
