An extensive view showing the sea in the foreground, the chapel on the left, the Stone Store at the waterfront, to the right of the road leading down from the top of the hill in the left background, and Kemp house, the two-storied dwelling surrounded by trees to the right of the Stone Store. There are two other houses on top of the hill to the left.
There is a view of Kerikeri Falls on the reverse

Provenance: Originally in scrapbook purchased from a second-hand shop in Auckland in the 1950s by Mr Harry Rodewald of Auckland. Dismounted and sold separately with other Kinder drawings in the early 1980s.
