- Description
Shows the head and shoulders of Joshua Bolten, White House Chief of Staff. He wears darkened glasses and smokes a cigarette rather as Dr Strangelove did. He talks of the right people dropping bombs on the wrong people to stop the bomb being dropped. The allusion is to the Stanley Kubrick film 'Dr Strangelove or How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb' in which Peter Sellers plays a mentally unstable US Air Force general. The film satirizes the Cold War and the doctrine of mutual assured destruction. Refers to the United States attitude to Iran's nuclear stance.
