In the first scene which takes place in 1941, a man, looking anxiously upwards, rushes towards the Underground and in the second scene which takes place in 2005 a man rushes away from the Underground looking anxiously behind him. The first scene refers to the use of the Underground for shelter during World War 2 airstrikes over London and the second shows a man trying to escape the terrorist bombing in the Underground in July 2005.
