These folders are White's manuscript versions of Ancient History of the Maori and include volumes which were prepared but not published before his death
Includes history and traditions of the Tainui tribes of Kawhia, but particularly relating to Ngati Mango and Ngati Toa and to a lesser extent Ngati Raukawa, Ngati Mahuta and Waikato. Also includes whakapapa for the above tribes.
