Description

The image is the June page of a calendar showing National Deputy Leader, Gerry Brownlee, as a pin up boy in his underpants; in the background is a more gorgeous pin up boy, arms crossed, surf life-saver style. Refers to a 2002 Christmas card calendar featuring Lockwood Smith engaged in various activities designed to show him as an effective politician; it also gave his contact details. The reference is to a spat in parliament over whether such an item would qualify now as legitimate spending of government funds.
