- Date
- 2009
- Reference
- DCDL-0010935
- Description
In the first of four frames the sentencing judge tells television personality, Tony Veitch, that his testimonials are impressive and that he will take them into account when sentencing. In the other three frames Tony Veitch haltingly suggests that the judge not take into account the testimonials of three eminent people, the implication being that they are less than flattering. Tony Veitch was convicted and sentenced after seriously assaulting his former partner. He tried to influence the severity of his sentence by altering testimonials written by eminent people for other reasons, like getting a passport.
