A Scrooge character stands outside the 'Scrooge & Marley' financial house with a begging bowl and a notice informing the passing public that he has saved every penny but has still lost it all. A sign on the door of the office says 'foreclosed'. A passing man comments to his wife that now he knows for certain that the economy is stuffed. Refers to refusal of finance houses to lend as being a contributing factor in the current global economic crisis. Scrooge is a character from Charles Dickens' 'Christmas carol'.
