Description

Shows the Southland area of the South Island with a pig's snout and the word '$OWthland' printed across it. Text explains that a multi-million dollar pig industry is set for the region that could rival dairying. It will develop a growing herd of genetically pure, disease-free Auckland Island pigs the company, Living Cell Technologies, already has in Southland. The pigs will be used in ground-breaking diabetes treatments. There is a play on the word 'Southland' and 'sow' and also a little play with the 'S' of Southland and '$'.
