Collection of cave maps produced by and for New Zealand Speleological Society documenting New Zealand cave systems. Comprises manuscript maps, printed maps, and diazotype facsimile prints of maps.
Includes some maps reproduced in 'The New Zealand Cave Atlas' compiled by Peter Crossley, first published in 1981.
The New Zealand Speleological Society was formed on 1 October 1949 by Henry G Lambert who served as founding president to 1959.
