Description

The collection consists of diary kept by William Martin containing notes on measurements and costings associated with his work erecting telegraph poles for the Post and Telegraph Department, lists of the furniture and appliances for various rooms of a house and diary entries dated [ca 1890] of a trip to England. Also contains material collected by George Martin comprising a list of pa on the Whanganui River and an account by T W Downes of the river entitled `The Great River Te Awa-Nui-A-Rua - an easter holiday', written [ca 1938].
