Description: Photographs, mainly of performances by the Berioska Dance Company of the USSR and the Novosibirsk Ballet [also Royal New Zealand Ballet?] taken 1970 and circa 1971 by Wassili Wassiliew at unidentified locations, some probably taken in Wellington, New Zealand. Mainly contact sheets, but some portraits of soloists. Some images of rehearsal are included. Miscellaneous images show James Smiths corner and storeroom of sweet white sherbet in barrels. Also one photograph featuring, and autographed by, New Zealand born male dancer Jan Caryll (formerly known as Thomas O'Carroll), taken circa early 1930s by Lenare, London, England. This photograph was signed and given to Jill Mullen when she visited Caryll in London, England.
