Description: A Radio New Zealand recording containing Whitehead's compositions 'Hotspur' and 'Low tide, Aramoana' recorded in Auckland in 1982. 'Hotspur' is for mezzo-soprano and instrumental ensemble, with text by Fleur Adcock. Performed by Anthea Moller, mezzo-soprano with instrumental ensemble, and conducted by William Southgate. 'Low tide, Aramoana' is for mezzo-soprano, SATB, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones and percussion. Place of recording - Place of recording Hotspur was probably recorded in the Radio Theatre, Auckland New Zealand, for a lunch-time concert, on 22 March 1982. Low Tide, Aramoana was probably recorded in the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Auckland, New Zealand, on 10 September 1982.
