Description: Christmas greeting card printed only on the front shows pink clover flowers and leaves, with a blue butterfly hovering over them. Text is at lower right. The card is gilt-edged. In the language of flowers, clover signified “Think of me” or “Be mine”. Exhibited in ‘Humble: the life of 100 small objects’, exhibition curated by Barbara Lyon, in the Turnbull Gallery, National Library of New Zealand, 27 August - 17 November 2017. Harriett Shaw's name is handwritten on the back in large cursive hand, possibly by a child. Harriett Shaw died in 1899 aged 21. Quantity: 1 colour art print(s).
