Mr Hill was a private practice architect, who came to NZ in about 1952. The firm Synaxon Architects was established in 1972. Hill was involved in saving and restoration of Nairn St cottage; he wrote weekly column for the Dominion on Wellington townscape 1960s-70s; wrote "Restoring with Style", 1985.
