Top photograph (PA1-o-412-060-1) "Drama in a nasty side stream. Bones, Bill, and Allen fishing for Basil Honour who was well and truly "over" with his pack holding him down in the roaring flood. [It] looks like an eel spearing expedition, but was nearly more serious. This was only a side stream, the main stream had yet to come"
