Posters advertising the Golden Kiwi lottery, almost all showing a logo with "50 years", up to "53 years", indicating how long the lottery had been running. First prize ranges from $200,000 in 1980, to $600,000 in late 1982-early 1983. Many posters featuring a cartoon kiwi.
Also includes nine colour laser copies of these and other designs from the same period, acquired from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage in 2001.

Provenance: The majority purchased from Mr Patrick Broadhurst in 1999. The remainder acquired from D S Oppler of Jays Dairy, in 1982.
