Contains music scores of works composed or arranged by Gary Daverne, as well as school and music certificates, school reports and score cards for music examinations, correspondence, clippings relating to Daverne and productions he was involved with, scripts, programmes for musical and theatrical productions and other related papers. Also includes videotapes and audio tapes of recordings of works by Daverne, including television and radio jingles.

Arrangement: Collection was arranged into series and sub-series after accrual 2020-0002 was received.

Description: Commissioned by New Zealand Accordion Association for 2009 Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships held in Auckland. Arranged for brass and military bands and symphony orchestra. Comprises musical parts (folded and single sheets) and scores for symphony orchestra (instrumentation and strings) and brass band (instrumentation) (bound). Musical parts for: bass; bass drum; bassoons; bass trombone; cello; clarinets in Bb; flutes 2nd flute (piccolo); horns 1/2 and 3/4 in F; kit drums; oboe; percussion; snare-cymbal; trombone 1 and 2; trumpets 1, 2/3 in Bb; tuba; viola; violin 1 and 2.
