Description: A wooden plaque presented to Joseph Heenan, Chief executive officer of the New Zealand Centennial celebrations, and Secretary of Internal Affairs. On the burr walnut (?) base, is mounted a silver relief of the elevation of the Exhibition Buildings with the central tower. The dates 1840 and 1940 are at the top corners. The text is inscribed on a strip of silver beneath the building, on the bevelled edge. Anscombe was the architect who designed the Exhibition Buildings. Quantity: 1 curio(s).
