Surveyor and farmer. Arrived at Lyttelton on `Clontarf', Jan 1859 with brother Edward Percy Sealy; initially visited their uncle, Henry Bowman Sealy, at `Patoka', near Napier. Married Emma Booker Askin, originally from Northern Ireland, in Jul 1873; had four children.
