Soldier. Brigadier in the New Zealand Army. Attended Roy Military college, Duntroon from 1936-1938. Served in the Middle East during World War 1939-1945. Commanding Officer of 16 Field Regiment in Korea, 1953-1954. Subsequently held many different military posts listed in NZ Who's Who from 1950s through 1970s.
