Brittan, Frederick George (Rev), 1848-1945

Born 19 Feb 1848, Sherbourne, Dorset; son of William Guise Brittan and Louisa Brittan, arriving with them and other family members on the `Sir George Seymour' in Dec 1850. Clergyman, St Mary the Virgin, Addington and St Paul's, Papanui (both part of the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch), teacher Christ's College. Member of Anglican General Synod, Christchurch, 1898. Died Christchurch 13 Sep 1945.
