New Zealand photographer, born Te Kuiti, 1955. Studied photography, Wellington Polytechnic, 1976. Exhibited regularly from 1977 until 2014. Career included freelance commercial photography, photojournalism, and self-initiated projects and publications. Long standing member of and contributor to PhotoForum. Travelled extensively in the Pacific, documenting the impact of climate change and population displacement, and political unrest. Died 2017.
