London whaler. Captain of the barque 'Harriet' (which eventually wrecked on 16 July 1837). Was put ashore at Bay of Islands where he died at the house of Captain James Reddy Clendon in November 1836. Buried at Kororareka. Source - Sydney herald, 10 Jul 1837, p 3
