Description: Photographs taken by mostly unidentified photographers, of Allen Curnow and Jeny Curnow, and their respective family and friends from the 1910s to 2001. Includes: Portraits of Curnow taken from circa 1910s to the 1930s, including a group photograph at St John’s College from 1931; Curnow speaking in 1961; with various friends including Denis Glover, Rex and Maurice Duggan, Dylan and Caitlin Thomas; family photographs with Betty Curnow and their three young children; Curnow and Jeny Tole’s wedding taken 1965; Jeny and Allen Curnow holiday and family photographs and at Karekare; portraits in Curnow’s later years; Curnow receiving awards. Named photographers include a studio in Timaru, Bruce Connew, and Denis Glover. Title supplied by Library. Arrangement: Originally housed loose and in plastic enclosures, within four annotated manila folders. Two photographs had annotated sticky notes attached.
