Wife of Sidney Hirst (d 1861), carpenter and joiner from Yorkshire. They arrived on 'George Fyfe' in 1842. Her first husband died in 1861 and was buried at Christ Church, Taita, Lower Hutt. She remarried in 1863 at William Dew, at St Paul's Church, Wellington.
