Sydney Infirmary (Sydney, N.S.W.)

The Sydney Infirmary and Dispensary was a charity instituted in 1844 to provide medical care to the poor. In 1894 it was renamed Sydney Hospital. The Sydney Infirmary is where Lucy Osburn founded modern nursing in Australia.
