A Wellington photographic business established in 1934 (and still listed in Wises, in 1955) by Eila Mary Bristow (listed as a spinster on the electoral rolls) who lived in Homewood Ave, Karori, and Elsa Lillian Mawley (listed as a widow on the electoral rolls) who lived in Hill Street in the 1930s, Murphy Street in the 1940s-60s, and at Newman Tce between 1963-65?. Elsa Mawley died in 1965. The studio was at 16 The Terrace, in 1951. (Information from Kathleen Coleridge, 18.1.2002).
