Duck, Emma Jane, 1850-1908

Wife of George Dixon (1848-1883), mother of 6 children, 2 of whom died in their first year (Edith Annie and Samuel John). Their surviving children were Emily Mary (1871-ca 1940), married William Henry Wallace; Florence Emma (1873-1928), married Francis Henry Steel; Mabel Catherine (1875-1910); George Alexander (1878-1948), known as Alex, or Alick.
