Description: Certificate shows a central panel of text surrounded by line illustrations of (from left): mountain daisies in a mountain setting, Clematis, cabbage trees. The central panel has an embossed seal on its left side. At lower right is the date 1928, and the initials of the designer, E H A. The diploma was dated /awarded in 1927, but the certificate design is dated 1928, suggesting that the certificate was presented the year following the awarding of the diploma. Designer is probably Esmond Atkinson, a botanical artist. Quantity: 1 b&w art print(s). Physical Description: Engraving, 540 x 422 mm. Provenance: Donated in 2013, by Neville Davies, son of Sir Victor Caddy Davies, the recipient of the diploma.
