Description: Two memoranda books include details of expenses for building a cottage, a bakers oven in 1862, rents received (1865-1866), accounts for family's shoes (1867), journey to Hokitika 19-30 October 1865 and recipes There is also a miners right issued to George Innes, Tuapeka (September 1861) and a manuscript of business notes (1860-1866) which includes costing of material in construction of brick house, Cashel Street (1863) and record of work done There is also a copy of Wellington Girls College Reporter, Jubilee number (May 1933) George Innes was a builder who lived at various times in Hokitika, Otago and Christchurch. Description: Contains mainly correspondence and newspaper clippings. The correspondence consists of letters written to Bradshaw by her family and friends, many of these letters have a copy of Bradshaw's reply attached to them. The clippings are of newspaper articles on a wide range of subjects. Some of the correspondence and clippings relate to Jean Batten and Bradshaws contribution to a TV documentary made about Batten. Also included in the collection is material on the Gibb and Innes families, Bradshaws birth certificate, marriage certificate, passport, copies of her husbands and her fathers wills, a photocopy of holograph transcription of John Innes's diary (transcribed by Bradshaw), copies of the `Ladies College Old Girls Association' and the `Friends of the Turnbull Library' newsletters and a handwritten and a typescript draft of Bradshaws reminiscences.
