Description: Collection comprises correspondence, postcards, booklets, financial advice, minute extract, newspapers and cuttings relating to Henry Edmund (Harry) Holland and the Holland family. Henry (Harry) Edmund Holland was a trade unionist, socialist, journalist and politician. With his wife Annie (née McLachlan), they had five sons and three daughters. Harry was the Leader of the New Zealand Labour Party (1911-1933) when he died suddenly at Huntly on 8 October 1933, while attending the burial of Te Rata Mahuta, the Māori King.
