Includes two letters to the Secretary of the US Navy on the events in the Bay of Islands; correspondence with Bishop Pompallier, Fitzroy, Bishop Selwyn, Magistrate Beckham, the commanders of HMS Hazard and North Star, US Consul in Sydney, and in 1851, letter from Rev A N Brown.
