Daughter of Sir Arthur Henry Dyke Acland 1811-1857. Married Leonard Harper, barrister, son of Bishop H J C Harper in June 1864. Emigrated to New Zealand Oct 1864-Jan 1865 on SS London. They lived in Christchurch where Leonard Harper conducted a land agency and legal business. Following the collapse of his company, the Harper family returned to England, 1892-1893
