Studholme, John, 1829-1903

Second son of Mr John Studholme, of Morton House, near Carlisle, Cumberland. He arrived in New Zealand in 1851 on the 'Labuan', accompanied by two younger brother, Paul and Michael. Member of the Canterbury Provincial Council. Married Lucy Ellen Sykes Moorehouse in 1862, daughter of William Moorhouse, of Knottingley House, Yorkshire.
