Description: The diary covers the period 1 Jan to 25 May 1941. The entries to 15 Apr mainly record letters received. After this date entries relate to Pickett's reactions to his experiences at the front. Source of title - Supplied title Accompanying material - Accompanied by copies of 18 photographs, chiefly of RAF personnel in Greece and copies of Pickett's Base Record Office file and correspondence relating to the provenance of the diary and photographs. Pickett served as a sergeant in the New Zealand Artillery. In Mar 1941 he landed in Greece and on 25 May 1941 he was killed in action during the Battle of Crete. Quantity: 1 volume(s) (88 pages).
