Auckland artist and author of Ivan Cuba's festival of arts (New York, Temple of Arts, 1990). Born Britain, educated University of Auckland. Served with New Zealand expeditionary forces, World War 2, in Crete and Africa. Died Auckland 9 February 2007. Formerly Harry James Bacon.
