Howden, Cecil Ritchie, 1891-1971

Howden left New Zealand in August 1915 and served with the Wellington Mounted Rifles. He saw action at Gallipoli in December 1915 and was in France until April 1916. In April 1917 he was sent to England to attend an Officers Training Course. (Serial No. 11/1443). Son of David B. Howden, of Muritai, Eastbourne, Wellington.
