Description: Shows the Recreational Grounds in New Plymouth, also called Pukekura Park. The lake is in the foreground, with a small sailboat holding two people, possibly Maori. The bridge crossing the lake is in the middle ground, flanked by large pines on the left and smaller trees to the right. A snow-covered Mount Taranaki rises in the background and shows its reflection in the water.
