Description: A drawing of a badge designed for a rugby club, and a small typewritten piece of paper describing the design and the significance of the colours and motifs. The typewritten description includes some handwritten corrections. The badge consists of a shield and a ribbon, against a black background. The shield is scarlet, yellow and light blue, depicting an athlete’s wreath of honour, a jersey cow, and boat. The ribbon is scarlet bearing the words “Mid-Northern R.F.C.”. Description: Maker(s) not identified. Circular disc shows on the obverse the school emblem featuring the 'Lion Rampant', with 'Epsom Girls Grammar Founders Award' engraved around it. The reverse is undecorated but with Dame Binney's name and the year the medal was awarded engraved. Posthumously awarded. The medal was awarded in September 2011 to Dame Binney, who died in February that year. Title supplied by Library. Quantity: 1 curio(s).
