Description: Programme featuring New Zealand singer Inia Te Wiata. Includes an inserted sheet announcing the June Barton, Australian coloratura soprano will replce Lucille Graham who was indisposed. Includes a biographical paragraph about Inia Te Wiata. The items he sang included "The catalogue song", "The power of love is all compelling", "O these dandies hither roaming", "O tu Palermo", and in duet: "Bess, you is my woman now", "You lay your hand in mine dear", "Oh no John". Description: This collection of international New Zealand conductor Warwick Braithwaite comprises mainly music scores and libretti of his works (1910-1967), his writings including his autobiography (1932-1965), some correspondence (1953-1967), scrapbooks (1928-1953), and ephemera (1925-1953). There are some papers relating to opera companies (1937-1938), certificates and family papers (1912-1955). Music scores of works by other composers (1934-1961) and writings by others (1942-1962) are included.
